MEA Council – Storify My Business Marketing Programme

Mid and East Antrim Borough Council want to support tourism businesses in their area with their brand story and marketing potential.  Have you an experience that needs put into words or a unique product that you’re not sure how to advertise?  Apply for this two phase programme and if successful, you will be given a marketing expert who will help with content creation, creative writing and brand development.  You will also have the opportunity to apply to take part int eh Digital Boost programme run by MEA’S Economin Development departmetnt hel punderstand how to maximise your presence online.

AGT Christmas Dinner – Thursday 12 Dec 2019

The Antrim Glens Tourism Cluster’s Christmas Dinner is at 7.00pm on Thursday 12 December 2019 at The Laragh Lodge, Glenariffe.

Please see the attached menu  – if you are attending, we will need your menu choices in by 6pm Monday 9 December.

Partners and spouses all welcome. The cost is: 2 courses £17.95 and 3 courses £22.95 both including tea or coffee (to be paid on the night).

CCR Tourism Cluster: Speed Networking Event – Monday 18 November 2019 at Galgorm Spa & Golf Resort

Our next CCR Tourism Cluster meeting is a speed networking event, kindly hosted by the Galgorm Spa & Golf Resort. At the start of the meeting, there will also be a presentation by TNI on the new brand for NI launched this week at the World Travel Market in London.  This will be our first Cluster event involving all four cluster groups across the region. Speed Networking is an excellent opportunity to find out more about what the region has to offer visitors and to help identify other tourism business partners you could potentially work with to develop exciting new experiences and offers.

 Schedule:

CCAG Council – Christmas Light Switch Ons: Sponsorship Opportunity


Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council will stage Nine Christmas Light Switch On events in Ballymoney, Limavady, Ballycastle, Coleraine, Portstewart, Dungiven, Garvagh, Portrush and Kilrea on various dates between 21st Nov and 7th December. These FREE, family friendly events typically attract around 15,000 to 20,000 spectators and will offer a superb platform for your company to reach a family audience. Each event will include some of the elements listed below.

  • Appearance by Santa Claus to switch on the Christmas lights in each town
  • Live entertainment
  • Local choirs carol singing
  • Primary school children will get the opportunity to meet Santa in his grotto and receive a small gift
  • Spectacular Festive Parade (Coleraine Only)
  • Walkabout characters
  • Quiet Time Sessions with Santa Claus in Ballymoney, Limavady, Ballycastle and Coleraine
  • Fabulous Festive Lighting will be Switched On in each town

As the sole sponsor, your company would benefit from the following;

  • Mention as sole sponsor in 60 x 30-second advertisements airing on radio
  • Mention as sole sponsor during interviews with local radio stations
  • Mention as sponsor and invite to photo-call for local press prior to event
