Fairhead Trails Walk

Fairhead Trails Walk

Saturday 30 September  10.30am-12.30pm

Come and join us on a fun walk to experience the fabulous Fairhead Trails and the stunning scenery around our coastline.  This is a purely social outing for Antrim Glens Tourism members, supporters, friends and families – all are welcome but please notes that this walk is not suitable for young children as the cliff paths are not fenced in.

Tour guide Kevin McGowan, Nine Glens Walking Tours , has kindly to lead this circular walk which will last approximately 1 hour 45 mins.  We’ll be on some of the highest sea cliffs in the North of Ireland, with spectacular views of Rathlin, the Mull of Kintyre and the Western Isles of Scotland. The walk will be approximately 1.5 km on rocky terrain. There are some paths and we’ll be walking through 1500 years of history, legend, and folklore.

What to bring:  Waterproof jacket and sturdy walking boots. Sorry – no dogs allowed as the route traverses local farming land.

Meet at: Fairhead Car Park at 10.30am. Click here for info about Fairhead and directions to the car park.
