Meeting & Ronan’s Way Walk

Meeting & Ronan’s Way Walk

Sunday 23rd April, 11.00am.

MEET AT:  McBride’s Bar, Cushendun.

This will be a networking and activity-based meeting combining the opportunity to discover some of  Cushendun’s main attractions and enjoy a short hike along a section of Ronan’s Way. The meeting is kindly being hosted by  McBride’s Bar which is full of character, history and stories and also home to both the 8th Game of Thrones Door  and the popular seafood bistro upstairs The Little Black Door. Here’s the schedule for the day:

11.00am – Antrim Glens Tourism meeting: upstairs in The Little Black Door Restaurant

12.30pm – Lunch: Soup and wheaten bread (pay on the day)

1.00pm – Ronan’s Way guided walk  led by Eamon Robbin, GlenHaven Holidays

Please Note:

  • The guided walk will follow the Yellow route (2km) which involves ascending some hilly parts. This will take around an hour.
  • Anyone interested in a longer walk can continue on along the Blue Loop (3.7km) or Red Loop (5.5km)
  • Robust footwear (ie walking boots) and waterproof clothing required.

There’ll be plenty of time after the walk to have a look round the village, check out the Red Squirrel Playground at Glenmona House and pop in to The Corner House cafe for afternoon tea.
